In the circumstance of global effective
use of wood resources, particle boards and MDFs (medium-density
fibreboard) are born recently. Sequentially, their using
range is broadened day by day.
Material:
Particle board----It
is made by binding wood particles ranging in size from flakes
to sawdust together with a suitable adhesive, such as a
plastic resin, and pressing or extruding them to form sheets.
It can be processed freely in thickness, size, etc.
MDF----It is formed by breaking down softwood into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and resin, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure.
MDF is fibre-based, it has a remarkably consistent structure. This quality makes it easy to machine or employ in woodworking applications. MDF is often used with melamine or wood veneers.
Surface laminate:
Melamine----The melamine paper with a suitable adhesive is pressed onto the board by applying high temperature and pressure. Different colors and surface effects can satisfy the different customers.
Laminates----The laminate is attached onto particle board or MDF by a special processing.Laminating material can prevent them from becoming abraded and eroded. It will embodies its values in post-moulding processing.
